...News!...News!...News!...

Hello all, it has been a while but we are still here. A lot has happened since we last spoke but I think I will just hit the high points. Those of you who can do math and also read calendars have more than likely figured out that Emily had her SECOND birthday! Can you believe that it has been two years since Emily and Joseph were born. I know, I have a little trouble believing it myself. It is like they say, “Time flies whether you are having fun or not.” Luckily we have been having fun which makes the time flying kind of a bummer. Why you ask? Well, quite obviously if you are having fun it is always better when time moves a little slower, time flying should be saved for things like IRS audits and root canals.

By now you are probably asking , “Why doesn’t he ever get to the point?” To that I will answer, Hey take it easy, I ALWAYS get to the point, just not as quickly as some would like. That being said, here we are, at the point. Like I said, Emily is now two years old (and still unemployed I might add) and while not technically an only child, she sorta is. So, Christa and I got to thinking, how do we fix that problem. My first thought was to get Emily a shirt that said, HEY, I’M NOT AN ONLY CHILD!, but Christa thought that was a little too “in your face.” Then I suggested getting one of those puppets that you attach to your arms and legs and mimick your every move, but Christa thought that nobody would really think that it was another “real” kid. Then I suggested always bringing multiple outfits for Emily and constantly change her back and forth so people would think there were two of her and they were just never in the same place at the same time. Once again Christa shot down that brilliant suggestion, she can be a real stick in the mud sometimes. So after I came up with these terrific ideas I told her that she would have to come up with something. It turns out that she had a pretty good idea already, but chose not to mention it right away (could have really saved me some time, not to mention typing!) She said, “Hey, let’s just have another baby!” (Let’s face it a good idea, but so was the puppet.) So with a plan in place that is just what we are going to do. That’s right everybody WE’RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY! Not bad huh, BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE . . . you see, as we did have some “issues” the last time our doctor thought we should have an early ultrasound, so we did. Can you guess what we found out? . . . . . THAT’S RIGHT NOT JUST ONE, BUT TWO! By now you must be saying "WOW that is big news, they can’t possibly top that!" . . . BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! . . . "More you say? What else could he possibly have to offer its already TWO babies?" . . . But right now, in a limited time offer, we have ONE MORE BABY! "Impossible!" you say, and to that I say, NOPE . . . IT’S TRIPLETS! That’s right ladies and gentlemen . . . TRIPLETS!!!

So there you go, months and months with nothing to say and I drop this on you. I know that this is big news to swallow, but just think how I feel…that is a serious MOUNTAIN of diapers. So as things progress we will be posting more info, and other fun stuff, stay tuned!

Here they are, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! Your first look at Emily's new siblings.
