In Our Arms

This evening, Joseph Roy Bellock left us for a better place while being held in his parents' arms and surrounded by family. He will be greatly missed. He is being welcomed in Heaven by his Uncle Joe and Grandpa Roy. We thank everybody who prayed for him and ask that you keep him in your hearts, just as we will. We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses who tried so hard to make this a happy story, and especially those who comforted us and cared for Joseph at the end. This blog will not die with Joseph, but will continue in his memory.

Thank You,

Steve, Christa & Emily

PS--Wake and Funeral arrangements will be announced when available. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Joseph's name to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Steve, Christa & Emily,

I am so sorry to hear of baby Joseph's passing. The two of you have been so strong during the past few weeks -- Joseph was fortunate to have you as loving parents. May God give you the strength to face the coming days as you lay Joseph to rest and may you always remember the love and joy your little bundle of blue brought to your lives during the short time you had with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve, Christa & Emily,

We are so saddened to hear about Joseph's passing. We will continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. May the memories that you have of Joseph stay strong and bring you peace in the coming days. Know that God had other and better plans for your perfect little bunny.

Steve, Christa, and Emily,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. We have never met, but I have had you in my prayers for a while now. I will continue to pray for strength, peace and understanding for you. God has plans for us all, unfortunately sometimes we never understand them and have to just have faith.
God Bless,
Lauren/moonduck

I am so sorry for your loss.As a parent to two small boys I can't imagine what you and your wife are going through and my heart aches for you.
I found this site yesterday and must say I was very touched by Joseph's life.Your son has touched many people and I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Steve, Christa & Emily,

I know Joseph is

Far from the cruel and the cold,—
Where the bright eyes of angels only
Should come around us, to behold
A paradise so pure and lonely.

Bless you all.

Joseph could not have asked for a more loving, wonderful family. He won so many battles along the way, but even the strongest can't win them all. You have more thoughts and prayers for the health and happiness of your entire family than you will ever know. Thank you for having the courage to share this most painful and private time with all.

I know Joseph is watching all of this, amazed that total strangers were praying so hard for him, and are now crying that we will not be able to see him grow. He knows he is loved, and always will be.

I am so, so sorry for your loss :-(

I have just read the whole story of Joseph's too-short life. He was such a brave little fighter all through his surgeries.

Though you do not know me, I am thinking of you, Christa & your family at this difficult time.

I hope that the beautiful Emily brings you all much joy, & helps to lessen your pain.
